A Japanese Satsuma earthenware vase by Kintozan, Meiji period, of baluster form, the body painted in gosu blue with trailing wisteria and with gilt and polychrome butterflies and leaves, beneath a pair of Buddhistic lion handles, impressed seal mark and blue enamelled three character signature to base, height approx 46.5cm (chip and hairline to rim).
