A Chinese hardwood mounted archaistic jade disc (bi), probably 20th Century, the pale brown jade disc carved in low relief with a dimpled design within a taotie motif border, the hardwood stand with arched surmount carved in relief with a taijitu motif flanked by a pair of chilong, the central boss with gilt trigram within twin chilong frame, the rectangular stand with green stained pierced scroll gallery above taotie motifs and scroll feet, height approx 38cm (hairline inclusions to jade).
