A late 19th/early 20th Century Continental gilt brass and simulated tortoiseshell lacquered singing bird automaton musical box, the rectangular case with engine turned borders, the central hinged oval cover opening to reveal a pierced grille and a brightly feathered bird with beak and wing movement, length approx 10cm, with key (some faults).
