A George III oak longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the broken arch dial painted with a circular portrait of an officer, above Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and date dials cornered by foliate spandrels and inscribed 'J. Wakefield, Ayton Banks', the hood with a swan neck pediment above a glazed door flanked by columns, the trunk with an arched door above a plain base and plinth, height approx 214cm, with pendulum and two weights (alterations and faults).
