An ethnic carved nut or boxwood pocket medicine grinder, possibly 17/18th Century, with European influences, the handle with a carved head finial above a band of three figures holding their stomachs, fitted with a metal grinding shaft, fitting into a curved body decorated to one side with Christ on the cross and to the other side with another figure, overall assembled height approx 13cm.
