A large Japanese Imari porcelain jar and cover, 19th Century, the ovoid body painted with a continuous scene of a pavilion and blossoming trees, beneath a segmented collar filled with quail, insects and flowers, heightened in gilt, the similarly decorated domed cover with dog of Fo finial, height approx 93cm (some faults).
