A Japanese Satsuma earthenware circular bowl by Choshuzan, Meiji period, the interior painted and gilt with a battle scene of samurai, the exterior with two similarly filled vignettes divided by gilt Shimazu, Tokugawa and Kiri mon, complex gilt signature to base, diameter approx 16cm.
