A William IV silver circular vegetable dish and cover, with shell, oak leaf and gadrooned borders, the domed cover with removable cast fruit and leaf finial above an engraved crest of a collared lion's head within a garter surround with motto 'Auspicium Melioris Aevi' (Token of a Better Age), the base inscribed 'Rundell Bridge et Co Aurifices Reginae Londini', London 1837 by William Bateman II, diameter approx 28.5cm.
