A mid-19th Century French ebonized and brass inlaid lady's dressing box of serpentine outline, the hinged lid revealing an inset mirror, the compartmentalized interior lined in pale green velvet and gilt braiding, fitted with a pair of gilded glass scent bottles, an enamelled needle case and spike, width approx 33cm (some faults).
