A late 19th Century German walnut mantel clock, the eight day movement chiming and striking on five gongs, with pull-repeat mechanism, the back plate stamped 'W & H Sch' (Winterhalder & Hoffmeier), the silvered dial with Roman numerals beneath subsidiary slow/fast and chime/silent indicators, all within engraved foliate scroll borders, the case with arched surmount above carved decoration and pierced fret panels, on bracket feet, height approx 45cm, with pendulum, case key and winding key.
