An unusual William IV mahogany extending ship's/campaign dining table, in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster, the moulded rectangular top fitted with five extra leaves, the cushion moulded frieze with carved corner rosettes and additional sections, the central pedestal raised on four downswept sabre legs, each corner fitted with a removable slip-mounted turned and reeded leg, all terminating in brass caps and castors, extended length approx 352, width approx 127cm, height approx 71cm. Provenance: from the principal contents of Wephurst Park, Wisborough Green.
