A Japanese shibayama inlaid ivory and 15ct gold mounted parasol handle, Meiji period, the slender cylindrical ivory handle finely inlaid in mother-of-pearl and hardstones with a bird perched in a trailing wisteria branch, the 15ct gold mounts with foliate engraved decoration, London 1897, the black silk canopy and frame detailed 'Bencox London' and 'Paragon, S. Fox & Co Ltd', total length approx 95cm.
