A Sino-Tibetan gilt bronze figure group of Mahakala and his consort in Yab-Yum, 20th Century, the eight armed deity and female consort wearing elaborate headdress and adorned with jewellery, on a lotus moulded oval base, height approx 20cm. Note: Yab-Yum literally means 'Father-Mother' and is a symbol in Buddhist art representing the sexual union of a male deity and female consort.
