[LYSONS, Samuel.] An Account of the Remains of A Roman Villa Discovered at Bignor, In the County of Sussex, in the year 1811, and four following years. London: T. Bensley, 1820. 8vo (182 x 102mm.) Hand-coloured engraved frontispiece, 1 folding plan, 5 hand-coloured engravings. (Folding plan torn and repaired with adhesive tape with associated staining, some offsetting and light browning.) Contemporary half-calf (rebacked with old spine laid down, endpapers replaced). Provenance: Caroli ac Mariae Lacaitae Filiorumque Selham Sussex (bookplate to front pastedown).
