A Second World War period Japanese naval officer's dagger, the straight single edged blade, length approx 22.5cm, with narrow fullers, brass crosspiece with reversed terminals, wire bound sharkskin covered grip with floral and foliate decorated brass mounts, in its leather covered wooden sheath with matching mounts, the upper mount with two suspension rings and securing catch.
