A Liberty & Co 'Tudric' pewter mantel timepiece, designed by Archibald Knox, circa 1902-1905, the circular blue enamelled dial with a copper chapter ring and black Roman numerals, the angular case inlaid with rectangular panels of abalone, impressed number '0252' to underside, the movement marked 'Lenzkirch 478103', height approx 16.6cm (lacking hands and minor faults). Note: a similar timepiece is illustrated in Archibald Knox by Stephen A Martin, page 241.
