A Japanese Satsuma earthenware vase, by the Hododa Company, Meiji period, the flared neck and body thickly enamelled and gilt with fenced chrysanthemum garden, dragon collar, simulated brocade and various flower filled fan shaped panels, three line gilt signature blue enamelled Shimazu mon and painted red seal mark to base, height approx 30.5cm.
