LOT 1140
A Chinese Longquan type celadon glazed eight trigrams tripod censer, late Yuan/early Ming dynasty, the shallow rounded sides carved with the eight trigrams, raised on three mask and paw feet, covered in a sea green glaze falling short of the centre of interior and raised disc to base, diameter approx 26.5cm (faint hairline to rim), with later carved hardwood stand. Provenance: the collection of the late Commander Paul Bridgeman, Dowdeswell Manor, Cheltenham.
