A late 18th Century Russian silver and niello twin-lidded oval snuff box, the hinged top decorated with 'D.X' initials within a foliate border, the sides with scrolling tendrils, the base with star motif hinged to reveal a mirror to interior, curved Cyrillic maker's mark stamped to lid interior, length approx 6.3cm.
