An Italian maiolica circular charger, probably Faenza, mid-16th Century, of Compendiario type painted to the centre with a male nude wearing a blue cloak, within a patterned border of blue scrolls and dots to the outer well which is repeated on the rim, against an off-white ground, unmarked, diameter approx 41cm (glued repairs with faults and filling).
