A pair of Chinese famille rose porcelain vases, mid-19th Century, of tapering square section, each side painted with a figure beneath a lengthy black text and red seal marks, the flared neck with panels of further text within frames of flowers, scrolls and wine bottles, flanked by a pair of iron red and gilt mask and ring handles, height approx 36cm (faults and repairs).
