A Japanese Satsuma earthenware vase by Kusube, Meiji period, the hexagonal body painted and gilt with opposing figural panels, reserved against a dark blue ground, within gilt overlaid borders, iron red and gilt signature to base, height approx 21.5cm, together with a pair of similar smaller vases by Kusube, Meiji period, height approx 18.5cm.
