A mid-19th Century Continental brown patinated cast bronze inkwell, the circular lid with a figure group surmount of two wild horses, the interior fitted with a cut glass well, the urn-shaped body decorated with acanthus leaves and raised on hinged lion head supports, united by a stepped circular base, height approx 24.5cm.
