A large Westerwald stoneware two handled footed jardinière, late 19th Century, the circular top relief moulded with Cupids and grotesque beasts between geometric banded detail, flanked by scroll handles with mask detail, the grey body washed overall with a blue glaze, impressed numerals '383' to base, height approx 34cm (tiny filled chip to rim).
