DUGDALE, William. The Antiquities of Warwickshire illustrated… beautified with maps, prospects and portraictures [sic] London: printed by Thomas Warren, 1656. First edition, folio (337 x 223mm.) Title in red and black. Engraved portrait frontispiece of the author by Wenceslas Hollar, 5 double-page maps, 6 double-page plates (one with images cut-down and mounted), 5 single page plates and about 182 other engravings integrated within the text. (Frontispiece creased, some spotting, 3 of the double-page plates with old splits at the fold, some other minor faults to text.) 19th Century red straight-grained morocco gilt, g.e. (rebacked with original spine laid down, extremities rubbed and bumped).
