A Staffordshire pottery novelty tobacco jar and cover, circa 1850, the barrel shaped base inscribed 'Tobacco', the cover surmounted by a seated clown with a putto on his shoulder holding a glass to his lips, unmarked, height approx 32cm, together with a Staffordshire figure of a greyhound.
