A Meissen porcelain sedan chair and two carriers, late 19th Century, after the models by Reinicke, the seated lady inside the chair with a small dog on her lap, visible behind a puce curtain, the black glazed roof above the richly gilt decorated sides enclosing panels of putti amidst clouds, supported on metal poles held by the carriers who are dressed in green jackets and ochre trousers, wearing plumed hats, on floral decorated bases, blue crossed swords factory marks to bases, carriers additionally incised '2163' and impressed '36', height of carriers approx 13cm (restoration).
