A Chinese black ground porcelain stem cup, mark of Yongzheng but possibly late 19th Century, the flared circular bowl on an outswept pedestal foot, the bowl interior finely carved with a pair of phoenix and peony and four character mark to centre, all reserved against a black ground, filled with iron red and gilt lotus and tendrils and gilt scrolling tendrils, beneath a key fret rim, the exterior decorated with two iron red and gilt dragons chasing the flaming pearl on a black ground filled with gilt scrolls beneath a key fret rim, the foot with iron red and gilt stiff leaves, carved four character seal mark to centre of interior, height approx 7.9cm.
