A Chinese Canton famille rose porcelain jar, late 19th Century, the squat ovoid body painted with pairs of butterflies, dragonflies and grasshoppers on a vertical green leaf ground, height approx 17cm (minor rim chips), with later wood cover, and a similarly decorated saucer dish, pseudo iron red seal mark to base, diameter approx 18.5cm (chip and hairline to rim).
