A collection of Sumida ware, Meiji period, comprising a pair of vases applied with children on a red ground beneath a streaky glazed neck, a bottle vase decorated in relief with a fish, a tobacco jar and cover, two small cups and tray, two vases and two dishes, all applied in relief with figures, impressed and applied signature plaques, together with a pair of similar Chinese porcelain vases applied with blue and white boys on an iron red ground (minor faults).
