A Chinese celadon jade ruyi sceptre, probably late Qing dynasty, of traditional small form, the head slightly turned, the serpentine stem carved with five cut strands of lotus flowers, tied by a central ribbon, the stone of greyish green colour with russet inclusions, length approx 26.5cm.
