A Japanese Satsuma earthenware vase by Kizan, Meiji period, of swollen cylindrical form, the upper half finely painted and gilt with a continuous scene of bijin working at a loom and painting, the lower half with millefleurs, separated by a key fret border, iron red and gilt signature with gilt Yasuda mark to base, height approx 24cm.
