LOT 1105
A late 19th Century French gilt metal and alabaster mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell via an outside countwheel, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, the case surmounted with a hat and harvesting tools, flanked by a seated classical maiden holding a sickle and corn sheaf, the rectangular alabaster base applied with cartouche, acanthus band and lion masks, on paw feet, height approx 37cm, with pendulum, gilt stand, glass dome and ebonized base.
