An early 20th Century plated canteen of cutlery by James Dixon & Sons, comprising eight table knives and forks, eight dessert knives and forks, eight fish knives and forks, eight teaspoons, eight soup spoons, eight dessert spoons, eight egg spoons, game carvers and steel, fish carvers and bread knife, all cased within a mahogany canteen table of serpentine form with hinge lid, on square tapering supports and spade feet.
