Émile Louis Picault - a pair of late 19th/early 20th Century French brown patinated cast bronze figures of a standing medieval archer arming his bow and a standing medieval scholar holding a lantern, with a book under his arm and a sword at his front, both raised on circular bases bearing cast signatures 'E. Picault' and titled plaques, 'Archer 13me Siecle' and 'Escholier 14me Siecle', heights approx 49cm and 48cm (archer lacking bow string, chains from scholar's sword and lantern detached).
