A 19th Century Egyptianesque brown and gilt patinated cast bronze tobacco box in the form of a canopic jar and cover, the hinged lid modelled as the head of Qebehsenuef, the falcon head above an ovoid body, cast in relief with hieroglyphs and a winged beetle, the flared base raised on a rouge marble plinth, height approx 28cm.
