A Japanese shibayama inlaid ivory parasol handle, Meiji period, with 15ct gold mounts, London 1897, the handle inlaid in mother-of-pearl and hardstones with a bird perched on a wisteria branch, length approx 27cm, the parasol frame detailed 'S. Fox & Co Limited, Paragon', total length approx 94cm (two small splits to handle and minor losses).
