A pair of Chinese famille rose decorated yellow ground porcelain jardinières, late 19th Century, of tapered cylindrical form, each painted with opposing panels filled with pine tree, fruiting peach branch, lingzhi fungus and rocks emanating from waves beneath a flying bat and ruyi sceptre suspended from an overhanging branch, reserved against a yellow ground filled with bats and peaches surrounding shou medallions, height approx 36cm (one restored, glaze flaking and the other with chip and star crack to drainage hole).
