A Japanese carved ivory and wood okimono, Meiji period, modelled as a young boy holding a fan and wearing an apron and robes, standing on a wooden festival drum, trying to keep his balance, the ivory banded ends with studded detail and mon panels, red signature plaque to base, height approx 20cm (two fingers chipped and fan repaired).
