A Chinese brown patinated bronze censer, cover and stand with gilt detail, mark of Xuande but Qing dynasty, probably 18th Century, the oblong body cast in relief with dragons and other zodiacal animals amidst waves, flanked by a pair of Buddhistic lion mask and loose ring handles, the domed cover cast and pierced with dragons and phoenix on a vapour ground, beneath a dragon finial, cast six character mark of Xuande to base, total height approx 17cm.
