Contemporary blue/grey morocco, covers panelled in gilt, spine divided into two unequal compartments by a raised band, lettered in gilt in the uppermost, the lower with a design of daisies and foliage built up from small tools, gilt turn-ins, t.e.g. (light scuffing to extremities, slight discolouration of the spine). Provenance: Cecilia Codrington (inscription dated May 1923, possibly noting the gift of the book, as a wedding present, from Lady Victoria Machell); The Library Collection of the Late W.
