A French Empire ormolu and brown patinated bronze fountain clock, circa 1820, the eight day movement with silk suspension striking the hours and half hours on a bell via an outside countwheel, the back plate stamped 'A.C. Decauville À Paris', the engine turned gilt dial similarly inscribed, framed by a silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and a cast gilt flowerhead surround, the urn surmount issuing three spiralled glass 'water' rods, running to three silvered scallop shells, the rectangular case with gilt columns flanking a gilt mask issuing a further glass rod, above a rectangular pierced Gothic arch base enclosing a cut glass reservoir, on gilt griffin feet, height approx 48cm, with pendulum and key.
