A French Empire brown and gilt patinated bronze mantel timepiece, with vertical platform escapement, the back plate stamped 'CV' and numbered '3095', the dial with embossed foliate roundel centre within a border of black Roman numerals and cast laurel wreath frame, the naturalistic rocky case applied with a gilt figure group of Napoleon on horseback, on a rectangular plinth with foliate border and bracket feet, picked out in gilt, height approx 41.5cm (faults).
