LOT 1078
An early 19th Century mahogany longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the painted break arch dial with subsidiary seconds and date dials and inscribed 'JA. Blagburn, Gateshead', within a frame of Roman numerals, the break arch painted with a scene of a figure on camel back approaching a further figure, cornered with scenes of ruins, the hood with swan neck pediment above a glazed door and turned columns, the trunk with arched door and corner columns, on a circular panelled base and bun feet, height approx 235cm, with pendulum and two weights.
