A Chinese pale celadon jade brush washer, probably late Qing dynasty, conceived as a flattened double gourd, resting on its side with the broad leaves of its stem beneath, two bats hovering above the double apertures, length approx 12.5cm (minor chips), on a hardwood stand carved and pierced with scrolling leaves.
