A pair of Chinese Canton carved mother-of-pearl shells, mid-19th Century, each decorated to one side in low relief with scenes of figures on horseback approaching a village with further figures, pavilions and trees, each raised on a carved and pierced hardwood stand, total height approx 28cm.
