A Japanese Satsuma earthenware vase by Hattori, Meiji period, the hexagonal tapering body painted and gilt with a scene of a tiger prowling amongst a gathering of arhats including Kannon, within gilt simulated brocade borders, flanked by a pair of gilt dragon handles, iron red and gilt signature to base, height approx 17.5cm.
