ORDNANCE SURVEY MAP. - William MUDGE. Part the First of the General Survey of England and Wales containing the Whole of Essex and a Portion of the adjoining Counties. London: [n.d. but 1805.] Engraved folding map (1224 x 1833mm.) in 32 sections backed onto linen. (Many sections lifting from linen, some spotting and browning.) Contained within a contemporary blue straight-grain morocco slipcase with centrally placed shield of the Board of Ordnance in gilt (somewhat scuffed and soiled). Note: the first Ordnance Survey Map.
