A collection of First World War letters from Captain Guy William Egerton to family members whilst serving with The Welsh Regiment near Ypres in 1915, until severely wounded at the Battle of Loos in October 1915, including five postcards bearing 'Passed by Censor', envelopes, typed copies of letters from 21st January 1915 until 29th May 1915, obituary in the Surrey Mirror and County Post, August 13th 1965, and a pewter hip flask, engraved with initials 'G.W.E.'.
