A Victorian papier-mâché basket with brass vine moulded overhead swing handle, the circular centre painted and gilt with a Turkish scene of three figures with the Bosphorus and Ortaköy Mosque beyond, within a gilt, blue and red strapwork and foliate border with shaped rim, inscribed 'Mechi, 4 Leadenhall St, London' to base, diameter approx 26.3cm.
